Iris Forest is the stage name of Irene Dmytruk - musician, singer, and live performer from Kharkiv, Ukraine.

The first songs were written in 2016, first performances played in 2018, then in the beginning of 2020 the stage name was invented and finally in 2021 the first EP was released.

Iris Forest mainly uses piano and voice in her works but there is also some electronic music she started making about a year ago and have been growing in that field since then too. Her style might seem quite strict and minimalistic and yet playful in terms of rhythmically unstable narratives, with abstract lyrics creating huge space for reflection and contradictory vibes. It might be defined as dark pop, dark soul. In some way, though it's a kind of experimental pop minimalism.
