An exploration of using games within an art gallery and how games can also open up this dialogue about social issues. For this talk we will explore the exhibition POWER OF WHO! which recently opened at MAMA in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The exhibition focuses on the power relations in place, and the balance of this. For this a level was made for the game RIOT: Civil Unrest based upon an actual demonstration that took place last year in Rotterdam. In the session we will talk about the exhibition, and explore it via an interactive livestream.
