Wonder how to tell better stories through your games that also evoke some sort of emotion in the players?
Through this workshop we are going to make an emotional experience on Bitsy. We will start knowing about how the process could work (everyone has their own), followed by ideation time and the making of our experience using the engine Bitsy. By the end of the workshop, we will put together our ideas and show the things we've been able to make.
Goal: to start knowing the tools for making emotional experiences. If participants can't finish their game during the workshop, that's completely fine. They can do so at home later on!
This workshop is
recommended for anybody, even people that have never made a game before.
Be sure to
bring your own laptop to follow this workshop. But you are also very welcome without your laptop. This was you can explore the possibility of doing game design with paper or through storyboarding.
